I had the opportunity of creating a logo for a local winery in Jermyn, PA in 2021. This was my first sold design.

In 2020, my uncle approached me and asked if I had any ideas for a logo for a local winery he and some partners were launching. At the time I was in my first semester of college studying graphic design so he was aware of my skill and knowledge, as well as liking my fine arts projects in painting, drawing, etc. Once my uncle saw the designs I had come up with, he set up a meeting with his partner for me to show him my ideas. Although I was new in my craft, I realized this might be an opportunity for me to actually create a design that could be a sustainable logo for their winery venture. I explained to them that although I was still in school and learning my trade, I felt confident in my ability and would charge far less than what a professional advertising agency or graphic design group would charge them. All the partners were very impressed with my label design ideas. I am proud to say that my design is now their permanent logo and is used on the winery website, pamphlets, labels, signage, apparel, etc.
